Tourism Reports
As the prevailing majority of tourists travel to different areas worldwide for pleasure, they logically expect to have a worthy experience in various events typical of such places. News reports and articles published on tourism events have always had a significant influence on the number of tourists visiting a particular area. This paper discusses three reports on tourism and the effects the tourist industries experience due to certsin circumstances. Samo Rauter and Mojca Doupona Topic as the authors of the report on Differences in travel behavior of small and large cycling events view the influence of sports events in relation to tourism. They specifically speak about cycling events in Slovenia (Rauter and Topic, 2013). Giving details about the fun involved in the process they also accentuate the role of the participants, encouraging tourists to take part in the cycling events as a leisure activity.
